DIRECTIONS
Mission Boat Launch From Hwy. #1
Go east on Highway 1 and take the #93 Sumas Way/Abbotsford/Mission exit, clover leaf around and go North on Sumas Way (Highway #11) into Abbotsford after three sets of traffic lights the road turns into Hwy 11, which travels north to Mission. There are good signs on the Hwy direct you to Mission. Driving time from Hwy #1 to Mission is approx 15 minutes. While travelling North on Hwy11 you will cross a large bridge over the Fraser River. Take the first off ramp to the right near the end of the bridge. The road will curve to the right then go strait for approximately ¼ mile, you will keep right and come to a tee intersection at a stop sign, this will be Harbour Ave. Turn right at the stop sign and proceed to the end of the road and the boat launch will be on the left hand side at the waterfront.
From Highway #7 – Lougheed Highway
Go east on Highway 7 all the way to Mission. At Horne, turn right (south, towards the river). Follow Horne to Harbour Avenue. Turn right onto Harbour Avenue (it is at the end of Horne – there will be a mill directly in front of you. The launch is in Harbour Park, about a block down. The park is right on the water, beside the xatherwood Fuel Dock under the Mission Bridge.
Island 22 Boat Launch/Fishing Bar, Chilliwack
Highway #1 – Trans Canada
Take Hwy 1 east to Chilliwack-Airport Exit 119B. Loop around to the right onto Vedder Rd. going north, which turns into Yale Rd. East. Before you reach Chilliwack City Centre, turn right onto Airport Rd and follow Airport Rd. to Young Rd. Turn left (North) on Young Rd and follow to Cartmell Rd. turn left (West) on Cartmell Rd and Travel 2.2 km to the Public Boat Ramp, or you can go another 0.7 km to the Fishing Bar.
Ample parking in designated areas. No parking on the fishing bar, but can park under trees along access road to site.
Kilby Historic Park & Boat Ramp, Harrison
Highway #1 – Trans Canada
From Mission City, east on Hwy 7, approx. 30 K, toward Harrison River. Cross the Harrison River Bridge and take the first turn to the right (south) onto School Rd. Follow the signs to Kilby Park.
